fulltime student and single mom seeking to attain work life balance

How do I attain balance in my life now that i am a full-time student, a single mom, and caretaker of my grandparents?

Kell's reply: Thanks so much for your post. What strikes me is the quantity of work that you are doing.

Being a full-time mom, studying full-time, and being a caretaker is possible, but these are almost three full-time jobs by themselves.

If you are faced with doing the jobs of 3 people you have two options: get help from friends and family (or outsource) and prioritize.

Whatever you do you are going to have to prioritize so that the big things don't fall through the gaps.

To be clear on your priorities, you need to be rock solid in your planning, and even better in your execution.

Once you have a list of all the things that you need to do, pare down the list with this prioritization technique, and what is left are your most important things.

With the projects that you have left, enter them into a time management schedule.

Last, and probably the hardest is the execution. With so much to do you are going to be constantly bombarded with things to do, but having a rock-solid priority system will allow you to say "No" or to delegate your tasks to others.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Kell
