Conquering procrastination when you have unclear goals
One cause of procrastination are unclear goals. Conquering procrastination can involve setting clear goals. Unclear goals can lead to ambiguity and a lack of motivation - leading to procrastination.
Often when I give clients homework to set goals, the most common difficulty they have is setting specific and measureable goals. To properly set goals to reduce procrastination, the goals need to be
SMART goals.
That is they need to be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time-based.
