Time Management Audio Books

Here are some recommended time management audio books that will boost your effectiveness and get things done.

I download them onto my ipod - personally I couldn't think of a better way to spend my commute time.

Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity

Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity. This audio offers a system for putting all those free-floating gotta-do's clogging your brain into a sophisticated framework of files and action lists--all purportedly to free your mind to focus on whatever you're working on. Once you have it down - this is where the process of organizing, prioritizing and delegating starts. I also personally like the 2 minute rule - where if you can do it now in less than 2 minutes, then do it!

Time Management From The Inside Out

Time Management From The Inside Out. I quite like the personalized approach that Julie takes to time management. Everybody's values and priorities are different, and as such each person's time management system is different. I like the advice that Julie gives on creating a personal time management, streamlining routine tasks and beating procrastination and the inevitable daily distractions of life.

First Things First

First Things First. Old school time management tells us that working harder, smarter and faster will give us control on our life. In "First Things First" Covey applies the insights of "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" and emphasizes the importance of relationships and results. Thus "First Things First" focuses on effectiveness rather than efficiency. This the audio CD emphasizes the importance of goals that reflect your values, and that lead to an enriching and balanced life.
